More typical than a hotel, Riad Louna is a traditional guest house
restored in the old medina of Fez, composed only of 5 Suites. In its
gardens, beautifully ornamented with varieties of trees, oranges,
lemons, palms and divert plants situated arround the fountains.
Galleries enhanced by sculptured marquees, under these galleries cedar
carved doors give access to the suites. The stairs lead directly to
the terraces offering a very attractive view from the Riad to the old
medina of Fes. Everywhere the engrave of the arab musilman art
characterized by ceramics, Zellige, plaster and carved wood patterns.
The restoration was skillfully done by the genuire craftsmen who
remained faithful to the traditional inspirations inherited from their
ancestors who lived in Fes, the city classified as a world heritage of
UNISCO. Riad Louna is located nearby the main entry gate of the old
medina "Bab Boujloud’’ not too far from the miraculous achivevement
and one the most authentic monument of Fes, the Medersa Bouanania and
one of the typicals hammam ‘’traditional bath’’ sidi Azouz. You will
fully enjoy the deep quitness and the freshness of the gardens where
no noise interrupts the rustle of the crystalline fountains.
